I did something about it. Then and there my mind was made up to defend myself of which I shared earlier today on what I have done to the dream killer. In fact, the dream killer that I am talking about is FEAR. I have killed fear in self-defense and the people who witnessed the event refused to show up because they too were rejoicing as they got the chance to realized that the thing they have feared could be overcome. Did you know? You were created with unlimited potential and it just a matter of tapping in to your unlimited reservoir. I don’t know if you have felt the urge to do something before that you may think is out of your reach of doing. If you have ever felt that strong urge it is an indication that you are capable of doing it. Do what I have done and kill fear. Fear is an illusion. Did you know? It is time to reacquaint yourself with your vision. You are stronger than the challenge you may encounter as the world is waiting on your light. Be cognizant of this because no one will be able to do what you are here to do. Therefore, you want to continue to pursue that vision of yours. Did you know? The experience you are having at this point is VALUABLE. You may not like your current experience but I want to encourage you to pay attention to what is going on. It is said, the listen repeats until the listen is learnt. You can look at yourself in the picture and that can be done through reflecting. Did you know? You are capable of shifting your vibration. If you are experiencing low energy, it could because of the thoughts you are dwelling on. You are both a transmitter and a receiver of energy. You don’t attract into your life what you want; you actually attract what you continuously think about. You should pay keen attention to the thoughts you dwell on. Did you know? It is the EGO that causes us to be in conflict. The EGO doesn’t like harmony and if you continue to be friends with the EGO you will come short of what you are capable of doing. The EGO is ‘Edging God Out’. The EGO cause separation and when you are separated from the Creator you will not be as strong as you should be. Did you know? To change you current circumstances, you will have to first change the awareness of yourself. You will not change if you continue to think of yourself in the same way that lead you to the circumstances that you would like to change. How you think have a lot to do with the changes you want to make. Did you Know? You were created to create. God created you out of Love and loving Life is loving God. Being inspired is being InSpirit. When you are InSpirit anything that is outside of Love, Harmony, Peace and Joy will not be able to take residence in your mind.

Staying motivated can be a challenge. However, staying motivated is very important when striving to be more productive in life. For you to achieve a goal you have to be focused, hungry and have a never-give-up attitude. If you develop the drive and become consistent with your effort for the goal you want to achieve you will develop momentum. It is your momentum that will aid you in sticking to your goal and before you know it – you’ll be successful.
These are some tips to help you stay motivated: Embrace what inspires you - When you do what inspires you, you will have the drive to do it every day. We always enjoy what inspires us! It was Charles R. Swindoll who said, “The remarkable thing is, we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.” Do what you love - If you do what you love, you will have fun doing it. Whatever you love to do can be challenging, but because you love to do it, it is more worthwhile and becomes easier. Have a vision for your life - Once you have a vision for your life, you will be excited to get up everyday to make things happen. You’ll also know exactly what you’re after, which makes it easier to plan your actions accordingly. Read positive information - Positive information will help you to have a positive mindset. With a positive outlook on life you will see that the glass is half full rather than half empty. This will make it easier for you to recognize opportunities when they arise. Have a support team - We are humans and we face challenges. It doesn't matter how confident you may be, challenges will present itself. However, with a positive support team you will find encouragement, and by your support team encouraging you, you will feel motivated again to take on life. Review your goals and measure your progress - By reviewing your goals you will know if you are making any progress. Whenever there is progress you are going to feel good that you actually got past the thinking and acting of your goal. You have some results. All progress towards your goal is always great! By measuring your progress, you will also find out if you are on track of getting the task done. It’ll also help you to develop new ways to get things done easier. Measuring your progress is a great way to keep yourself motivated. STAY MOTIVATED! 2/7/2013 2 Comments The Power Of Your DreamDo you have a dream?
What is stopping you from accomplishing your dreams? The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. ~Eleanor Roosevelt "All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible". ~T. E. Lawrence I want to say why most people don’t experience the life of their dreams is simply because they quit way too easily, never want to go the extra mile. At times we need the push that life presents to us. It is that push that makes us grow and become better. However, most people don’t like to be tested. My dream was to one day have a better life than what I was experiencing as a child. I would sit outside as I looked out in space and envisioned more for my life. As a child my dream was very simple, due to my exposure to the minimal things that life had to offer. My dream was to run as fast as I could so I would be able to win my races when it comes to track and field season. I won most of my races, but as I got older and my vision got magnified with new found ideas and challenges crept in. At age 12 years I saw a runner by the name of Kevin Webb run past my school, and as he ran, the cheerers on the street shouted “he is the winner and he wins every year”. I said to myself that day that I want to do that, and I will do that. I said it without even knowing what the challenge would be like. I guess when you are young your first thought is that it’s possible. The older we become the less we believe in our potential. Don’t let go of your dream. Age is just a number. I was eager to meet this athlete because I wanted to find out how he was able to do what he was doing and so effortlessly. The first time we spoke he gave me the formula he had been using to win and he said I could use it if I wanted to win any of the road races. He said I would have to train very hard. I thought to myself, what a formula. He won the first year that I competed, but that was his last year in high school. I would train some evenings, but that was not enough to win. As a result I lost the second and third year of competing. I could have quit and let go of working towards my goal due to me not winning. The losses were the years that helped to develop my determination. The man who achieves is dream is the man who is consistent with his action and believes he can. I became consistent and it paid off. I won my fourth, fifth and sixth year in the road race competition at high school and my dream of doing what my friend did was now history for me. What next was a question that kept playing in my head? I wanted more and I will not stop until I receive it as I completed high school. What I wanted most of all was to go to college but I failed miserable in my exams. Doubt set in and for a while I lost focus and the vision of going to college. I said to myself what teachers said to me-that I was not capable. What are you saying to yourself? Make it be positive things and don’t let anybody dictate or limit your abilities. What happen when you share you dream with someone who want to see you achieve more out of life? I had shared my dream of college with a sports coordinator at my last competition of track and field and what he said to me that day was I can do it, but I must believe. The sport coordinator saw me months later and asked what I was doing on the street and not college. He asked me about my dream and I stumbled over my words. I wanted to go I said and he gave me his words that he will direct me to a program that will help me when the next year comes around. Never give up he reminded me and from ever since that phrase have been with me. I will never give up plays in my mind whenever I am faced with challenges. I meet a lot of it. I was in college the next year. I was met with challenges, but I was already equipped with a strong mind that I should not give up. What are you giving up on? During college I saw student after student leaving the country on scholarships to the states and every athlete’s dream of getting one including me. I didn’t get one even though I requested one and was recommended several times. Did I give up? NO! I watched friends leaving to the states and thoughts crept in of not getting a scholarship. For one year I didn’t work so I trained, and sometimes I wondered what I was training for. I wanted a job and out of nowhere an older man of the community saw me and asked when I became a police officer. At the time I wasn’t an officer, but that was enough to peak my interest. I’m a risk taker as my friends pointed out when I told them what my next move was. A month later I joined the national security organization even before telling both my parents knowing that they would not like the idea. I won the cross country run during training school and that was enough to let me know I was on the right path. I received the scholarship in 2006. If you failed at first that is not a prerequisite for you to quit. I found out that every time I bounce back I am stronger.
Never give up on your dream… because you never know what the Lord can bless you with. ~Kelly Rowland You just can’t beat the person who won’t give up. ~Babe Ruth Sometimes adversity is what you need to face in order to become successful. ~Zig Ziglar Your Dream Is Possible: Think on these things
Dream Big Dreams! We all are given an opportunity and that opportunity is life. With life you can become anything you want, so dream big dreams. I hope you keep your vision of success close, and as I plea don’t lose sight of what you would like to accomplish because it’s possible. Passion is that compelling feeling that will ignite the spark that is within you. If you should develop passion for what you do, passion will serve as a catapult that will launch you towards greater things. Bear in mind, success is not an overnight thing. Passion is an inside game and the men and women who understand the power of becoming passionate about what they do - they excel. Therefore, having passion for something will make a lot of difference in the outcome we get from our efforts. When you are passionate about the thing you do, problems are no longer problems but rather challenges you can use as stepping-stones to advance in life. A challenge is no match for your passion! It was Earl Nightingale who said, "The more intensely we feel about an idea or a goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep in our subconscious, will direct us along the path to its fulfillment." It's time to ignite your dream!
Being passionate will give you MORE DRIVE to get any particular task you are doing done. It is the drive that you have within you that will cause you to keep going when others stop. As Winston Churchill said, "Never, never, never, give up". With passion you make the thing you do become a part of your entire being. Your passion will also drive others to get more out their own lives. There are many lives to be touched. So keep your drive going! Being passionate will also make you UNSTOPPABLE. What I mean by unstoppable is that challenges won’t stop you from pursuing your goal. Obstacles will not hinder your performance, because passion is present and with passion you will find ways and means to go over the obstacles that get in the way. We have to be prepared, because there is no great accomplishment that comes without some challenges. We can only become better after each challenge, so embrace the challenge as you advance toward greater things in life. Remember, being passionate will keep you motivated. It was Les Brown who said, “Life takes on meaning when you become motivated, set goals and charge after them in an unstoppable way.” You have what it takes. Just keep going. You are going to get there! With passion you are NOT EASILY DISSUADED. When you develop the passion for a particular thing you will not be easily distracted because your heart is into what you are doing. Being passionate will also keep you focused, as we can be easily distracted with daily challenges, obstacles and things that happen naturally. It was Thomas Jefferson who said, “Nothing gives one person so much advantage over another as to remain always cool and unruffled under all circumstances.” There is a saying that goes like this, “Follow your passion, and success will follow you.” What are you PASSIONATE about? Your passion is something that you will do even if there are no brownie points attached to it. Find that PASSION, because the world awaits your LIGHT! |
